Ali + Alexis, a Love Story …

by Alexis and Ali - Posted in Ali + Alexis |

If you are a long-time follower of this blog, you’ll notice something different here.  The one girl who began this blog, Alexis Martin Neely, has become two — Alexis Neely & Ali Shanti.  The new banner at the top of the page here is a work in progress.  Here’s what it looks like right now (as it is likely to change in the future).

Below is a BIG discussion on Facebook about the best way for me to introduce Ali + Alexis to the world.  Click through and check it out, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

It’s been a long journey to get here. I’m still not entirely sure what I’m doing, but I sure am committed to doing it my way.  So you can do it your way too.

The discussion doesn’t look that big. Just sayin’

Where is the BIG discussion? And why is your face and advertisement on every single web page I view on the web? I feel like you’re stalking me. I guess it worked to get me to your page, though I’m in your same boat of figuring out how to segue out of my legal career into something more entrepreneurial and creative, so I’m not inclined to purchase your lawyers’ program thingie. Still, I’m intrigued. I definitely admire your courage. I agree that is your true gift. Namaste.

If you click “see more” above it expands and then click “comments” and you can see the entire conversation – 65 comments worth and a great read for every spiritual entrepreneur that has been through a growth period of identity.

Ali/Alexis I just now found this thread and I cannot even begin to say how beautiful and courageous and lovely you are!!! I have struggled with this also in changing my last name and have even felt like “Blake Ashley Freedom” doesn’t feel totally like me and there’s an angel in there somewhere by a different name. I have been wanting to do things with my blog/business/vision that I haven’t seen anywhere else and your site and journey is the first thing that really resonates with me bc it is unique and YOUR path embracing what YOU feel is right. I just absolutely love how open you are about all of this and how you have gone to your friends to open up the conversation. I honor you, I love you and I will never forget the support you provided me while in treatment. I love you sister. Namaste.

  • Thank you sister. I appreciate your support so much.

  • Thanks for sharing your intrigue and I hope you were able to find the discussion with Blake’s instructions, above. I’m here to help when you are ready. Perhaps check out the Eyes Wide Open collective for support w/ your transition.

  • Thanks lady.

I’m more attracted to Alexis Neely than Ali Shanty
